WINTER WONDERLAND CANDLE POURING PARTY
Island Thyme Soap Company and Island Cove Beads & Gallery are partnering up to host this event!
You will learn all about the history of scented candles, basic candle terms like “candle throw,” “melt pool” “first burn,” “wax memory,” “cure time,” and “fragrance notes,” important terms for understanding how to get the most from a scented candle.
You’ll learn about various types of candle waxes and fragrance available on the market today, how to calculate the amount of wax needed for the size of a vessel, how much fragrance to add, and the importance of mixing and pouring temperatures. You’ll also learn why choosing the right wick for the wax and fragrance is critical to the quality of the finished candle and how to troubleshoot candles that aren’t burning optimally.
Under the guidance of an experienced candle maker, each attendee will create their own Winter Wonder embellished candle in a beautiful 8 oz satin finish tin.
The Joyful Scents of the Winter Wonderland
You'll choose from 7 different complex wintery scents or even blend your own combination; Cranberry & Clove, Snuggly Sweater, Apple Cider and Oak and Cinnamon Spice Cake, Spiced Winter Tea, Mistletoe and Roasted Pinecone.
You'll choose a satin finish candle tin from three holiday colors, Ruby Red, Evergreen, and Gold.
The wax is a luxury clean burning apricot and coconut wax, and the whimsical wooden wicks say “cozy” on them and crackle when they burn!

Enjoy complimentary beverages and light snacks. Then take a stroll through the beautiful Island Cove Beads & Gallery shop where you’ll choose your custom bead embellishments. We’ll play games with giveaways while your candle firms up. Your last step will be adding your embellishments.

We totally understand, life happens. Due to the exclusivity and small nature of the event and limited seating, our cancellation/refund policy is as follows:

If you request a cancellation at least 72 hours before the time of your pouring event, we'll issue you a refund. Please allow 7-10 business days for a refund to process.
