Giving Back In The Wake Of Hurricane Ian

We're back on the Island. All is well here.

We are very blessed and grateful. Our hearts break thinking of our neighbors to the South of us and those still experiencing flooding all over Florida. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Search and rescue efforts are ongoing. It's going to be a long recovery.

We're donating 10% of every sale to one of these featured causes on the ground with needed resources in the wake of the storm though our Giving Back Program. You choose where the money goes. It's all automated and seamless at checkout and you don't need to share any private information with the cause we donate to. The donation is paid by Island Thyme Soap Company LLC.

Team Rubicon

Team Rubicon is a veteran-led humanitarian organization that serves global communities before, during, and after disasters and crises. Founded in 2010 with the expressed goal of quickly responding to large-scale disasters, Team Rubicon has deployed thousands of volunteers across the United States and world to provide relief to communities in need.

WCK and Feeding America.

World Central Kitchen (WCK) uses the power of food to nourish communities and strengthen economies in times of crisis and beyond. When disaster strikes, WCK’s Chef Relief Team mobilizes to the frontlines with the urgency of now to start cooking and provide meals to people in need.

The Feeding America Network is the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization.

Feeding Florida members are the 12 Feeding America affiliated Regional Distribution Centers in Florida. Every food bank in our network is coming together to support those affected by Hurricane Ian. Feeding Florida’s food banks are on the ground providing food, water, and other resources.

The Feeding Florida network is unlike any other hunger organization in the state. With 12 network member food banks and over 2,400 partner agencies, we are the only network that serves all 67 Florida counties year-round, every single day. Our unique partnerships, facilities, resources, and solutions help us combat food insecurity in a way that helps shorten the line and provide long-term health and wellness to our food bank families.

Feeding Tampa Bay  has four emergency distribution centers throughout the local area. Many residents still have no idea when their power will be restored, meaning no refrigerators or microwaves..
